Which Tempurpedic Mattress Is Best for You?
Mattress shopping can be stressful. So many people learn the hard way not to buy just any old mattress. Perhaps you have heard that Tempur-Pedic mattresses are good, and you are not sure which one would work best for you. Being stuck with the wrong mattress for a couple of years is not something anyone wants to do.
It is best to first consider whether you prefer soft, medium, and hard mattresses, which cover fibers you prefer, and then how much you want to spend on your Tempur-Pedic mattress. The Tempur-Pedic mattress company does not offer only one mattress. They actually offer three different types of mattress collections. There are the TEMPUR-Cloud, the TEMPUR-HD, and the TEMPUR-Contour mattress collections to choose from. Each of these mattress collections feature several mattresses that offer different features.
Lets take a look at each collection: The first collection is the TEMPUR-Cloud Collection. Featured within this collection are the TEMPUR-Cloud Luxe, the TEMPUR-Cloud Supreme, and the regular TEMPUR-Cloud mattresses (I don't know about you, but anything cloud sounds really good to me). All three of the Cloud mattresses are medium-soft, and have the TEMPUR-ES foam material that allows for a cloud like pillow-top that allows bed to customize to your body shape while you are sleeping. The softness and customization of the Cloud mattresses reduces the amount of weight that is applied to the pressure points on your body. It will depend how much cloud-like softness you want, choose the Luxe for the softest mattress, the Supreme for medium softness, and the regular TEMPUR-Cloud for an average amount of softness.
For people who prefer a mattress that is somewhere between medium-soft to medium-firm, there is the TEMPUR-HD Collection. The HD Collection features the TEMPUR-HD material that cradles and conforms to your body to reduce the weight applied to the body's pressure points during sleep. This helps reduce any tossing or turning that other mattresses may cause. Much like the TEMPUR-CLOUD Collection, the TEMPUR-HD Collection features three bed choices, including the GrandBed, the AlluraBed, and the RhapsodyBed. Each of these mattress sets are medium-soft to medium-firm, but have different types of mattress coverings.
The GrandBed is covered in a luxurious silk and cashmere blend, the AlluraBed has a silk and bamboo cover, and the RhapsodyBed is more economical and has a TEMPUR-Tex top. The third collection of TEMPUR mattresses is the TEMPUR-Contour collection. This collection features five different medium-firm to firm mattress types featuring the traditional TEMPUR material allowing the mattress to again conform to body shape during sleep and reduce pressure points.
The TEMPUR-Contour Signature features a 12 inch micro-fiber knit material cover, and respectively, the TEMPUR-Contour Select is also a micro-fiber covered 10 inch mattress. For a cheaper price, the same mattress is available in the TEMPUR-Contour mattress. For one who needs a thicker mattress, but that is not worried with what type of cover is used, the BellaFina Bed is 10 inches thick, and features the same TEMPUR material. Lastly, and certainly not least, is the OriginalBed by Tempurpedic, and it features an 8 inch thick mattress with a terry cloth cover that is removable so that it can be washed.
With so many mattress choices in the Tempur-Pedic mattress collections, there is a mattress for everyone's preference and price range. Each mattress can be tried out for 90 nights before purchase. If you try out the mattress for 90 days, and you decide it isn't for you, then you can simply return the mattress - there will be no charge. What other mattress store lets you try before you buy?
